Spox: Afghanistan, Iran's desire for peace and stability

Tehran(IP)- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh wrote on his Twitter that Afghanistan is a prosperous, independent, and developed country, and has always been Iran's desire for peace and stability.

Iran Press/Iran news: Saeed Khatibzadeh also wrote: "We will do our best to help genuine Afghan-Afghan dialogue."

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman wrote also that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif talks began with Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council of Afghanistan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council of Afghanistan, arrived in Tehran for a three-day visit to discuss peace and stability in Afghanistan with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"Abdullah Abdullah will brief Iranian officials on the latest developments in the peace dialogue," said Mujiburrahman Rahimi, senior adviser to the Afghan National Reconciliation Council.
