Iran's newly appointed ambassador to Yemen arrives in Sanaa

Hassan Irloo, the new Iranian ambassador to Yemen, arrived in Sanaa.

Iran PressMiddle East: "The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Yemen, Hassan Irloo, has arrived in Sanaa and will soon send a copy of his credentials to the Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf Abdullah, and the chairman of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat," said Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Saturday.

Earlier, on September 1, 2019, Ibrahim Mohammad Mohammad al-Dailami, as the Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Yemen to Tehran, presented a copy of his credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, in line with its principled policy of a political solution to the Yemeni crisis and within the framework of the four-article plan presented by the Iranian Foreign Minister at the beginning of the military invasion of Yemen, expressed its support for establishing a ceasefire and immediate cessation of foreign military attacks has announced the immediate and uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people, the resumption of the Yemeni national dialogue under the leadership of the Yemeni people, with the participation of representatives of all political parties and social groups, and the formation of a comprehensive Yemeni national unity government.
