Iran, Russia stress development of joint linguistics institutes

The Iranian ambassador to Moscow considered the development of joint Iranian-Russian linguistics institutes as the most important factor in the expansion of cultural relations between the two countries.

Iran PressEurope: Kazem Jalali considered language as the link between countries and cultures and said Persian and Russian languages play a significant role in connecting Iran and Russia as two neighboring countries. 

Saying that the Moscow State University of Linguistics has become an important center for teaching Persian and local languages for Iranian studies for 20 years, Jalali noted that in recent years, effective measures have been taken in student exchange and communication between the universities of the two countries.

Jalali made the remarks on Thursday in the first international scientific and applied conference of the Eastern and African Languages and Cultures.
