Iran, Oman stress expansion of media cooperation

Oman (IP) - Iran's Ambassador to Muscat Ali Najafi Khoshroudi and the Minister of Information of Oman Abdullah bin Nasser al-Harasi emphasized in a meeting on the expansion of cultural, artistic, and media cooperation between the two countries.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iran's Ambassador to Muscat Ali Najafi Khoshroudi met with Oman Information Minister Abdullah bin Nasser al-Harasi to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in the fields of media, culture, and art. 

Referring to Iran's capacities in the common grounds between Iran and Oman, the Iranian Ambassador to Muscat Ali Najafi Khoshroudi announced his country's readiness to further strengthen the cooperation and stresses efforts for the further introduction of the culture, art, and custom of the two nations to each other. 

Najafi Khoshroudi also described the cooperation in the field of public diplomacy and cultural relations as one of the main principles for the development of economic relations and announced Iran's readiness for mutual media and cultural cooperation and holding exhibition activities as well as facilitating the cultural and media activities.

Oman's Minister of Information, for his part, welcomed the expansion of media, cultural, and art relations with Iran and noted that the relations between the two countries are historical, deep and are not limited to the governments but also the people of the two countries have strong ties.

He described the policies of Oman after the presence of Sultan Haytham and described them in line with the policies of Sultan Qaboos, expressing hope that the cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of media and culture, would continue in the new era.
