Iran, Oman confer on cementing cultural, artistic ties

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Muscat and the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of Oman discussed ways to expand and develop cultural and artistic cooperation between the two countries.

"Tehran and Muscat have good political and economic relations, and this creates a good platform for the development of cultural and sports cooperation."

 Najafi also considered the activities of Iranians residing in Oman in the fields of trade, culture, and science as an opportunity to take advantage of their presence in joint activities and stressed: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to hold joint activities such as a cultural week, film and serial production and sports competitions and sports camps in the two countries to cement the bond of peace, friendship and love between the two nations."

The Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of Oman also described the deep relations between Muscat and Tehran in various fields and welcomed the development of bilateral cultural, artistic, and sports relations.

Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik al-Said also expressed hope that the cooperation between Iran and Oman, especially in the field of culture and sports during the reign of Sultan Haytham, will be raised to a desirable level.
