Tehran (IP) – Iran's Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth expressed that the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation has been a pioneer in the cultural section.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Abdolhamid Ahmadi, on the sidelines of the sixth phase of the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation's Pious Help campaign, added that the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation organizes effective cultural programs on various occasions.

Ahmadi stated that the Pious Help campaign has started since the beginning of this year after the Coronavirus outbreak, adding that during the last six months, faithful donations have been made several times with the participation of the sports community, athletes, coaches, champions, managers, and sports staff.

Iran's Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth noted that in response to the Leader's order, the 'Pious Help' campaign was carried out in all sectors, including the damages caused to parts of society by the coronavirus and caused problems for some businesses and individuals.

Abdolhamid Ahmadi added that more than 20 Pious Help programs have been held in the first six months of this year at the level of federations and a significant number of programs in different provinces, which shows that in sports, that spirit and character is at the forefront.
