Tehran (IP)-  The Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, said that so far, 479,825 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 394,800 of the total infected people have recovered.

Iran PressIran News: The Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health said on Tuesday that in the past 24 hours, 227 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 27,419.

According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 06, 2020, 4,151 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed, out of whom 2,127 of patients were hospitalized, said Lari.

She added that in the past 24 hours, 227 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 27,419.

4,200 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

"So far, 4,179,338 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted," the health ministry spokeswoman noted.
