Iran Press/ Iran news: Attending his weekly press conference on Monday, Saeed Khatibzedh responded to Iran Press question regarding Germany's Foreign Minister remarks saying that Europe's sanctions in the framework of JCPOA will be lifted, but the arms embargo will be extended to 2023, and khatibzedeh stated that European Union's decisions are related to themselves.
Germany, Europe, and other countries know that, according to resolution 2231, they are committed to lifting the arms embargo on Iran. Any action in this regard is against this resolution, he added.
Iran will pursue its rights, Khatibzedeh highlighted.
Referring to Europe's inability to fulfilling its commitments to lift sanctions on Iran in the framework of JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action), the Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that they could not even do anything through INSTEX (Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges) except limited transactions.
"I do recommend three European countries to pay more attention because the history will judge who was incompetent and who remained committed", he concluded.
