Bosnia and Herzegovina (IP) – A ceremony was held in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to honor the late Imam Khomeini's thoughts.

Iran PressEurope: The ceremony titled "Imam Khomeini Reviver of Religious Thoughts" was held in the Unitic conference hall in Sarajevo and was participated by political and religious figures, elites, thinkers, and other Bosnian people.

The lecturers in the ceremony highlighted the role of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution in the revival of religion and religious thought, especially in the Islamic awakening and the unification of the Islamic world.

The Iranian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Abuzar Ebrahimi said in the ceremony that Imam Khomeini could be called a strong leader who possessed both legitimacy and popularity and who was a spiritual leader. 

Today, the people of Gaza are being massacred before the eyes of the whole world and the world powers are silent, but persons like the Leader of Iran shout their cry on the oppressors.

Singing Ilahiya (divine) songs along with holding a photo gallery and book exhibition were among the other programs of the event in Sarajevo.

The ceremony was held with the cooperation of the Mulla Sadra Foundation and the Islamic Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
