Iran Press/ Iran News: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, congratulated the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, on Nigeria's independence in a message on Thursday.
Rouhani expressed hope that Tehran-Abuja relations would be further developed and deepened in bilateral, regional, and international spheres.
In the message, Rouhani also mentioned many fields of cooperation in the political, economic, and parliamentary spheres of Iran and Nigeria and the current interest in expanding bilateral relations.
