Gorgan (IP) - Gorgan Palace Museum is one of the historic and tourism attractions in Golestan province, North East of Iran which dates back to the First Pahlavi Era.

Iran PressIran News: Gorgan Palace Museum is considered as the fourth specialized museum in the field of archeology in Iran and it includes two main sections: the hall of Golestan province fame and the royal objects.

Some of the famous figures and celebrities of Golestan Province have been introduced in the Gorgan Palace Museum, all belonging to previous epochs up to the first Pahlavi era.

Sahabi Estarabadi, Sufi and poet, Abolhassan Ali Jorjani, calligrapher and poet, Abul-Haytham Jorjani, Turkmen poet, Abdul Hai Munshi Estarabadi, calligrapher, Mohammad Reza Lotfi, composer and musician, and other poets and philosophers were introduced in Gorgan Palace Museum.

Golestan province with a variety of historical, natural, and tourist attractions is one of the most important tourist destinations in northern Iran.
