Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said on Monday that so far, 449,960 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 376,531 of the total infected people have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.

Iran Press/Iran news: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 28, 2020 in the country, 3,512 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed, out of whom 1,514 of patients were hospitalized," said Sima Sadat Lari.

Lari added that in the past 24 hours, 190 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 25,779 people have lost their lives in the country to date.

4,068 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

"So far, around 3,959,783 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted," the Health Ministry spokeswoman noted.

She pointed out: "Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azerbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Alborz, West Azerbaijan, Markazi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamedan, and Yazd are in red.

Lari also stated: Kordestan, Hormozgan, Fars, and Golestan provinces are also on alert.
