The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed its firm stance in defending the Palestinian nation’s cause and the realization of their legitimate rights.

Iran Press/Middle East: Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared in a statement on Sunday that Doha's position on the issue of Palestine is the end of the Israeli occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in the capital al-Quds and granting all Palestinian refugees the right to return, which are all based on the international law and resolutions of the UN Security Council.

Some media want to tarnish Qatar’s reputation and its stances on the Palestinian issue, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said and stressed that Qatar's position on Palestine is firm, and it will spare no effort to help the Palestinians and alleviate their suffering.

Qatar's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lolwah al-Khater recently announced that Qatar will not join its neighbors in normalizing ties with the Israeli regime. The United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed an agreement to normalize relations in the presence of US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after announcing a compromise agreement with the occupying regime in al-Quds.
