Head of Democratic National Committee criticizes Trump withdrawal from JCPOA

The chairman of the Democratic National Committee of the United States on Friday criticized the withdrawal of the administration of President Donald Trump from Burjam.

Iran PressAmerica: Tom Perez called the US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) a wrong act and stated that Washington's move was to the detriment of US interests.

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, US President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew from the international agreement and announced the return of nuclear sanctions, in violation of Washington's commitments under the JCPOA.

Trump's move has drawn widespread domestic and international condemnation.
