Tehran - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh condemned any attack on diplomatic missions following an attack on a convoy of diplomatic vehicles in Baghdad and called on the Iraqi government to protect diplomatic facilities.

Iran Press/Iran news: Khatibzadeh on Thursday also recalled cases of attacks on diplomats and diplomatic missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq and called for strengthening the protection of diplomatic missions and ensuring the normal flow of diplomatic missions in the country.

The British embassy in Baghdad announced on Tuesday that a car belonging to British diplomats had been targeted in Baghdad, adding that a roadside bomb had targeted several cars of British diplomats in Baghdad, but no one had been injured.
