Iranian amb. discusses regional issues with Russian official

Iran's ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Presidential Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov discussed developments in the region, including the situation in Syria.

Iran PressEurope: Jalali and Bogdanov discussed bilateral relations, developments in the region, namely Syria and the Astana Peace Process, Palestine, the Persian Gulf, as well as international cooperation between the two countries, including JCPOA and the United Nations.

They stressed the consultation and cooperation of the two countries on regional issues, as well as the continuation of contacts and meetings between the two countries' officials.

The Iranian ambassador to Russia has already (July 9) met the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Presidential Special Envoy for the Middle East and discussed bilateral relations and developments in the region, including Syria, Iraq, Palestine, and Libya.
