Isfahan (IP) - The Allahverdi Khan Bridge, popularly known as Si-O-Se-Pol is one of the historical and beautiful bridges that was built during the Safavid historical period on Zayandeh Rud river in Isfahan, central Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Si-O-Se-Pol Bridge, which is a unique masterpiece of the period of Shah Abbas I, is about 300 meters long and 14 meters wide and is the longest bridge on Zayandeh Rud river. It was built in 1005 AH (early 17th century).

These days, when the coronavirus has affected the lifestyle of the people, the people of Isfahan spend their leisure time alongside this historical monument while observing health protocols.

The city of Isfahan is world-famous for having various tourist and historical attractions; the Swiss Foreign Minister recently described Isfahan as a "pearl of the Middle East" during his visit to this city.
