Ahvaz (IP): The second phase of the special water supply project to the villages of Gheyzaniyeh district of Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan province, southwest of Iran, was put into operation.

Iran Press/Iran news: The ceremony of official operation of the second phase and experimental operation of the third phase of the water supply project to the villages of Gheyzanieh district of Ahvaz was held on Sunday night with the presence of officials of Khuzestan province and Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarter of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps(IRGC).

With the implementation of this plan, 20,000 residents of the Gheyzanieh district will have access to sustainable water. According to the standards of sustainable rural water, each rural water and sewage subscriber must have between 10 to 12 hours of drinking water daily.

It has been announced that with the entry of the third step of the special water supply plan to the villages of Gheyzanieh district, the drinking water of 80 villages with a population of 25,950 people will be sustainable.
