Tehran (IP)- 'The second meeting of the Iran-Russia Cultural Cooperation Committee' was held in the form of a webinar on Monday with the presence of the cultural officials of the two countries, and the two sides stressed the need to expand cultural cooperation.

Iran PressIran news: This webinar started with an introduction to the relations and cultural activities of the two countries, and then, the two sides expressed hope that by the end of the existing conditions due to the pandemic, the next meetings will be held in person.

Also on some issues, such as the re-signing of the cultural agreement between the two countries, the two sides agreed to continue negotiations in the cultural committee of the '16th round of the Joint Commission on Economic and Trade Cooperation between Iran and the Russian Federation' to be held from September 14 to 18 in the Caucasus.

Explaining and reviewing the revision and activation of documents of cultural cooperation between the two countries, finalization of six documents in the fields of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism, national documents and library, cinematic cooperation, and cultural and artistic cooperation of Iran's Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) with the Republic of Tatarstan and Republic of Bashkortostan were among the topics of this virtual meeting.
