Hamas condemns lifting of UAE economic ban on Israel

Palestine (IP) - The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the UAE's lifting of the Zionist regime's economic sanctions, calling it a coup against the Palestinian cause.

Iran Press/Middle East: Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri wrote on his Twitter account on Saturday: "The UAE's action in repealing sanctions law imposed against the Zionist Regime  is a coup against the Palestinian cause and an official declaration of solidarity with the occupying regime against Palestinian rights."

The UAE government on Saturday repealed the Zionist regime's embargo law and allowed its citizens to trade and have financial cooperation with this regime.

This move follows a recent agreement between the UAE and the Zionist regime to make public the normalization of Abu Dhabi-Tel Aviv relations.

The United Arab Emirates and Israel agreed on August 13 to fully normalize diplomatic relations following US President Donald Trump's efforts to facilitate this action between the Arab and Zionist regimes.

This agreement has been widely slammed in the Islamic world.
