Tehran, Zagreb urge cementing bilateral ties

The Iranian ambassador to Croatia said that the officials of the two countries emphasize the great importance of bilateral relations and further strengthening mutual ties in various fields.

Iran PressEurope: Iranian Ambassador to Zagreb Parviz Esmaili, referring to the visit of senior Croatian officials to Tehran and the visit of senior Iranian officials to Zagreb, added that Zagreb officials were eager to expand diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran within the framework of the EU's common policy.

The Iranian ambassador to Croatia also spoke about the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, saying that the two sides have formed friendship groups in different periods of time in the field of parliamentary cooperation.

Croatia is one of the EU member states that, while supporting the JCPOA, emphasizes the need for its implementation.
