Rouhani to inaugurate water supply networks of 23,000 hectares of lands in Western Iran

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani is about to inaugurate the large project in the field of water and soil of the country, titled Border water and soil resources development projects, including the operation of irrigation and drainage networks in 23,000 hectares of fertile lands in Kermanshah and Ilam provinces, via video conferencing on Thursday.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iran's President Hassan Rouhani is about to inaugurate the large project in the field of water and soil of the country, titled Border water and soil resources development projects, including the operation of irrigation and drainage networks in 23,000 hectares of fertile lands in Kermanshah and Ilam provinces, via video conferencing on Thursday.

President Hassan Rouhani at the opening ceremony and operation of water and soil resources development projects in the border areas, stating that today our people are seeing the inauguration of one of the largest water and soil development projects in the border areas of the country, said: The areas were the scene of fierce clashes during the Sacred Defense era, and our wish was that one day the war would end and these plains would be settled so that our people could make the best use of their land.

He added: "Since I took the office, one of the projects that I was thinking about was this one, which we are inaugurating today."

Rouhani continued: "With this inauguration, these areas will be affected by this system, and people will see prosperity in this region."
