Moscow (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister stressed the need for continuous talks between Iran and Russia is increasing every day, as the regional and international process is speeding up.

Iran PressEurope: Mohammad Javad Zarif called the relations between Tehran and Moscow strategic and said in the current situation where major developments are taking place at the international level, there is a need for regular talks between the two countries and with other friends.

Zarif said the extension of the 20-year agreement between Iran and Russia is on the agenda of the Iranian diplomatic apparatus.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif made the remarks upon his arrival in Moscow on Tuesday, heading a delegation.

The Ambassador of Iran to Russia Kazem Jalali said on Monday on his Twitter account that Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will be in Moscow on Tuesday as the head of the diplomatic apparatus of Iran and for the third time in six months.

He said the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will convey President Hassan Rouhani's message to Vladimir Putin.
