PIJ: Zionism aiming Palestinian prisoners\' gradual death

The member of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ) has said that the Zionist Regime is pursuing a policy of gradual death against Palestinian prisoners.

Iran PressMiddle East: "The Zionists, in addition to being hostile to the Palestinian prisoners, are failing to provide them with medical services," said Yusuf al Al-Hassaina on Tuesday.

Al-Hassaina criticized the international community's silence on the Zionists' illegal behavior against Palestinian prisoners, saying that the Zionist Regime has the full support of the US government because Washington is preventing the trial of Israeli leaders in international courts.

The Center for the Detention of Palestinian Prisoners announced on Monday that Saad Al-Gharabli, a resident of the al-Shuja'iyah area in eastern Gaza, had been martyred due to medical negligence by the Israeli prison administration.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) also called the Zionists' move as the violation of all red lines and called on international legal entities to address the crimes of the Zionist Regime.

About 4,800 Palestinian prisoners are being held in Israeli jails, including 170 children, 39 women and dozens of elderly people. 212/ 207
