Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollehian and his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad have held talks on the phone about the latest developments in Palestine and the genocide staged by the Zionist regime in Gaza.
Amir-Abdollehian outlined the latest diplomatic efforts and consultations by Iran with influential regional nations to put an end to the war crimes and genocide by the child-killing Zionist regime and to get relief aid to the oppressed people of Palestine.
He noted that the Palestinian resistance in the region is ready and highly capable to stand up against the Zionist enemy and confront different scenarios. Amir-Abdollahian said the Zionist regime and, especially, the US are responsible for the consequences of continued crimes by the Zionist regime and its killing of women, children, and civilians and massive destruction of vital infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
The Syrian foreign minister, for his part, referred to Syria's decisive support for Palestine and the axis of resistance despite all the hardships the Arab country is facing.
Mekdad underlined the need for the Muslim world to stand united in the face of the apartheid Zionist regime. He urged regional nations to be vigilant against deceptive moves of the US and the Zionists.
Mekdad described Syria's principled policy of supporting Palestine as definite and unchangeable.
