(IP)- Lebanon's Hezbollah issued a statement that Islamic resistance fighters targeted a military base of the Israeli regime with a guided missile.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The attack resulted in some Israelis being killed and some wounded. 

Regarding the tensions between Lebanon's Hezbollah and the Zionists, Hezbollah issued a statement and reacted to the recent conflict, saying the launched missile at the occupied territories and the Israeli bases was in response to the martyrdom of reporters and civilians.

The statement added that on Sunday morning the center of the Zionist regime's army in the Y'shtola town was targeted with guided missiles.

The Israeli army declared the Lebanese border area a closed military zone, according to the Zionists' media.

Following the response of Hezbollah, the Israeli settlers were not allowed to enter the area near the Lebanese border. 

On Saturday, October 7, the Gaza resistance groups started an operation, codenamed Al-Aqsa Flood, to defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the Zionists' desecrations.

As a result of the operation, 1,500 Zionists have been killed some 3,500 have been injured.
