Iran Press/ Iran news: Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Republic of Iran, today (Saturday) in a telephone conversation with the Sultan of Oman, Haitham Bin Tariq, stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran always emphasizes the development of relations, the strengthening of good neighborliness and the promotion of trust between the two countries, appreciated Muscat's constructive role in resolving regional and international issues.
The president added: "Today, the Zionist regime and its allies, by continuing to cut off water and electricity and preventing the entry of medicine and food, are seeking mass massacre in Gaza and forcing mass migration of people from their homes."
Raisi, pointing out that the unlimited support of the Western countries and especially the United States for the crimes of the Zionists has made the situation even more complicated and dire, considered the decisive and immediate action of the Islamic countries and the freedom-seeking people of the world necessary to stop the Zionist killing machine.
The President emphasized: "The examination of the current dire situation in Gaza should be quickly put on the agenda of the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, and other international forums."
In this telephone conversation, the Sultan of Oman, while appreciating the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in defense of the oppressed people of Palestine, said: "We should not allow the policy of forced displacing the oppressed people of Palestine and imposing displacement on them to happen once again."
The Sultan of Oman confirmed the opinion of the President of Iran regarding the power and capacity of the Islamic Ummah to stop the ongoing oppression and violence in Gaza, and noted: "We are in contact with all parties who can be effective and play a role in stopping these crimes."
