Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Minister of Interior said that the country has no problems supplying basic commodities, and the amount of import and supply meet the country's needs and in some cases, there are even more than needed. 

Iran Press/Iran News: Addressing the reporters on the sidelines of 52nd session of Iran’s Economic Information and Advertisement Headquarters on Monday, Abdol-Reza Rahmani-Fazli referred to the increase in prices in the field of goods and housing, saying that regarding the price monitoring, the supply chain of goods is to be monitored to control the price hikes and this monitoring will be implemented on the distribution of goods in the micro and macro scales.

The Minister of Interior added that the government has plans to support tenants and support the construction of housing, which will help reduce housing prices.

Regarding the government's guaranteed price for wheat, he said: "This year, we have a 10% increase in the guaranteed price for wheat, and there is no problem in this regard.”

The 52nd session of Iran’s Economic Information and Advertisement Headquarters was held on Monday, June 29, 2020, at the Interior Ministry building in Tehran with the attendance of the Minister of Interior Abdol-Reza Rahmani-Fazli and other corresponding officials.
