Isfahan (IP)- Head of Iran's Plan and Budget Organization said that the government supports the necessary security activities that put the Iranian people in safety, adding development platforms would not be sustainable without national security.

Iran Press/Iran News: Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, head of the Plan and Budget Organization on Thursday morning, at the delivery ceremony of three Kosar fighter jets to the Iranian Air Force, said: "As the country's director of development and progress, the government is aware of a two-way relationship between security and development, so along with ongoing activities for the country's infrastructure, such as hundreds of kilometers of freeways which are under construction."

Head of Iran's Plan and Budget Organization said: "All these development platforms are unsustainable without national security, therefore the government, along with its development activities, considers it necessary to establish a two-way relationship between development and security."

Three Kosar fighter jets were delivered this morning in the presence of Brigadier General Amir Hatami, Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, Commander of the Army Air Force, and Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, head of the Plan and Budget Organization.

Kowsar is an advanced fighter with a close air support mission built entirely locally and puts Iran among few countries with the technology to design and build fighter jets with avionics systems and 4th generation fire control.

Kowsar will be converted into two single-cab and two-cab types, which in addition to combat capability, will be used to train pilots in advanced stages.
