Tehran (IP) - Professor of Hematology at Tarbiat Modarres University Massoud Soleimani in an exclusive interview with Iran Press elaborated on how the US treated the prisoners as well as about unfairness and racism, saying injustice was everywhere in the United States.

Iran Press/Iran News:  Referring to the US behavior in suppressing the protestors as the so-called claimant of human rights, he went on to say that when I returned from the US prison and was saying that no justice can be seen, people could not believe me easily and thought that I was saying this thing because I was under pressure.

"After a while, and due to recent movements in the US, it is clear for everyone that there is no justice and fairness in the US", Soleimani added.

"Racial discrimination and unfairness can be seen in different levels in the US, especially in the prisons," he highlighted.

Masoud Soleimani is an Iranian scientist who was arrested upon arrival in Chicago and transferred to a prison in the United States on October 25, 2018, without being charged and for unspecified reasons. He was released from custody in a prisoner swap on December 11, 2019.

He was awarded in the third commemoration ceremony held for "role model professor consistent with Islamic Revolution's values", and donated his gift to the family of Martyr Qasem Soleimani, saying that he was my greatest teacher.
