Iran's ambassador to Venezuela, Hojjatullah Soltani announced that the sixth Iranian ship is approaching Venezuela and it is carrying foodstuff.

Iran Press/America: In an interview with Al-Mayadin News Network on Saturday, Iran's ambassador to Venezuela, Hojjatullah Soltani, announced that the sixth Iranian ship is approaching Venezuela and the ship is carrying foodstuff.

On May 17, the sixth Iranian ship left the port of Shahid Rajaee in southern Iran for Venezuela.

Since April, Iran has sent five tankers carrying a total of about 1.5 million barrels of gasoline to Venezuela in support of the Venezuelan government and people, which are under economic siege by Washington.

Iran has sent five petrol tankers to Venezuela to end gas shortages in the South American country.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro praised the Islamic Republic of Iran's support for the Venezuelan government and people on Twitter after the move and said: "Venezuela is not alone, and it has brave friends who stand by it."

"Where imperialist countries want to impose their rules by force, only brotherhood can save free people," Maduro added.

In recent months, the United States has sought to overthrow the legitimate government of Venezuela, which has an anti-American approach, by threatening, imposing sanctions, putting pressure on Venezuela's economy. An approach that has never been successful.
