Tehran (IP): Reza Ardakanian, Iran's Energy Minister said that Iran is going to fix and repair Iraq's power grid damaged via different wars and incidents.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press about his recent visit to Baghdad which led to the signing of a two-year agreement on Iran's electricity exports to Iraq, Reza Ardakanian said this contact indicates Iran-Iraq continuous cooperation regardless of all enemies' efforts in the region.

Stressing that Iran has exported its electricity to Iraq since 2004, the minister said that instead of an annual contract, Iran and Iraq officials have decided to sign a two-year contract which is the sign of cooperation continuity.

"Iran and Iraq's electricity ministry have signed a three-year cooperation framework to the rehabilitation of the electricity industry," added Reza Ardakanian. 207
