Tehran (IP) - Iran's Roads and Urban Development Minister Mohammad Eslami stressed finalizing Azerbaijan, Iran, Bulgaria, and Georgia Black sea- Persian Gulf corridor agreement.

Iran PressIran news: Holding a virtual meeting with Bulgaria's Minister of Transport, Information Technology, and Communications Rossen Jeliazkov through video-conference on Wednesday, Iran's Roads and Urban Development Minister Mohammad Eslami said also Iran's suggested banking model will facilitate and strength Iran-Bulgurai financial transaction.

Highlighting increasing the two countries' trading relations to a significant extent, the Iranian minister added Iran is ready to transfer energy sources, including gas, to other countries via Bulgaria as the hub country.

Eslami pointed out to the coronavirus global pandemic and noted Iran's anti-corona measures including national screening, disinfection, coronavirus diagnosing laboratories, ventilator production, and ICU (Intensive Care Unit) rooms have enhanced.

He said Iran, fortunately, is kicking off its normal daily activities by implementing social distance and all hygienic protocols.

"Iran by sanitizing its rail, air and sea roads, and screening and training all how to deal with the virus, reassure its neighbors in order to start their activities during the outbreak, safely," said the Iranian Minister.

Bulgarian official said supplying Bulgarian gas via Iran is essential

Bulgaria's Minister of  Transport, Information Technology, and Communications Rossen Jeliazkov for his part said that It is necessary for Bulgaria to meet its gas need from the Islamic Republic of Iran,

He stated how important it is to resume negotiations on gas and energy sectors soon.

Keeping its position in the Black Sea safe and steady, Bulgaria has extended its sea corridors with Turkey and Serbia, its airports are also active right now, he also stated.
