Iran Press/ Asia: According to the Iran Press news agency, Mohammed Mahdi Esmaili, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, in a meeting with Mohammed Khalid Al-Jassar, the Secretary General of the Council of Culture, Art and Literature of Kuwait, said: "There are deep, historical and fraternal relations between Iran and Kuwait. In this regard, it seems necessary to strengthen cultural cooperation between the two countries."
Esmaili added: "Every year in Iran, various international festivals and events are held in the cultural field, and Kuwait can actively participate in these events."
Referring to the joint activities of Islamic countries, Esmaili stated: "The Palestinian World Literature Award, which is awarded by literary unions and cultural activists of the Islamic world, is an opportunity for the convergence of Islamic countries in the literary field."
Mohammad Khaled Al-Jassar, Secretary General of the Council of Culture, Arts, and Literature of Kuwait, also announced his readiness to participate in international cultural and artistic events in Iran and said: "Iran is a brotherly country that has been friends with us since the beginning of the establishment of the Kuwaiti government, and we are ready to Improve the level of cultural relations."
Walid Mohammad Al-Sif, the Secretary of the Isesco (Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Heritage Committee, while attending this meeting, emphasized the importance of registering Iran's historical places in the Isesco Heritage Center as the heritage of the Islamic world.
Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, has traveled to Doha, the capital of Qatar, in order to attend the 12th Conference of Ministers of Culture of Islamic Countries.
The conference with the slogan "Toward the renewal of cultural activity in the Islamic world" started yesterday (Monday).
