The French president plans to travel to London on June 18 for his first visit since coronavirus outbreak.

Iran PressEurope: French President Emmanuel Macron will travel to London on June 18 for his first visit since the outbreak of the coronavirus to attend a ceremony commemorating the resistance to Nazi Germany during World War II.

Macron's last foreign trip was on February 27 to Naples, Italy. The trip came a week before European countries closed their borders to control the spread of the coronavirus.

The French president will be welcomed in London by Prince Charles, the British Crown Prince. Charles, who also contracted the coronavirus and recovered, will be the first member of the British royal family to leave quarantine.

France and Britain were the two European countries most affected by the coronavirus, with more than 70,000 Corona victims killed.
