The ambassadors of Germany, Britain and Russia met in Baghdad with the head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Unit (Hashd al-Sha'abi) addressing the security situation in Iraq and international cooperation against terrorism.

Iran Press/Middle East: According to Sumaria News, Falih Al-Fayyadh, head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashad al-Shaabi) and ambassadors of Germany, Britain and Russia in Baghdad, discussed the latest security situation in Iraq and the region and ways to expand international cooperation in the fight against terrorism.

The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Sha'abi), as a key member of the Resistance Front, played a key role in countering US-Zionist plots and actions in the region.

Hashd al-Sha'abi was formed in 2014 after the ISIS  terrorist group occupied some areas and cities in Iraq under the fatwa of "Ayatollah Ali Sistani", the supreme authority of the Iraqi Shiites, and in 2016, with the approval of the Iraqi parliament Iraq's PMU is operating under the command of the Iraqi Armed Forces.
