Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman criticized the U.S. regime for relying on the “knee on the neck” approach to its people and other countries, said the US will soon kneel before the Iranian nation.

Iran Press/Iran news: In a tweet on Friday, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi addressed the US for its pressure on Iran saying "you see that not the Iranians' neck, but your knee was wrung."

Mousavi also remarked the US policy of 'knee on the neck' to the world and wrote: " A Govt whose policy is relying on 'knee on the neck' of either its own ppl or others around the world should be indeed happy w/#EconomicTerrorism & pressure on the public."

The Iranian Spokesman made the remarks in response to the US Special Representative for Iran Brian Hook's expressing happiness over the US pressure of sanctions on Iran which he claimed came to result.

Repeating the claims that the maximum economic pressure on Iran would prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, Brian Hook, US Special Representative for Iran said that the White House will increase its maximum pressure campaign on Iran.

“Because of our pressure, Iranian leaders have come to a decision: either negotiate with us or manage the economic collapse,” Hook told reporters. 212/ 104
