Iran Press/ Iran News: The third regional meeting of Islamic unity has started on Wednesday morning in Urmia, the capital of West Azerbaijan province, and dozens of Islamic scholars and thinkers from Iran, Syria, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Russia and Georgia have participated in this meeting.
Hamid Shahriari, in an exclusive interview with Iranpress Correspondent in Urmia, stated the importance of holding the third regional summit of Islamic unity, Islamic thinkers from six countries with more than fifty thinkers are present in the third regional summit of Islamic unity, and in addition, more than 1,600 thinkers from different provinces of Iran have participated in the regional meeting of Islamic Unity.
The Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed his hope that Islamic cooperation will be formed within the framework of the talks in the third regional meeting of Islamic unity to defeat the plan of the enemies to create divisions between ethnicities and different Islamic religions.
Hamid Shahriari also stressed that by achieving the unity of the word, it will be shown once again that the ethnic groups in Iran have a peaceful coexistence.
The Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought stated that one of the Islamic values is the free choice of religion for every nation, every religion and ethnicity.
Shahriari also stated by condemning Burning of the Holy Quran in some European countries, naturally, liberal values allow people to desecrate the Holy Quran with insulting behavior, but these efforts will lead to failure.
The Secretary General of Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought emphasized that hate speech and extremism will ultimately damage the liberal western society.
The Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said that the Holy Quran is a book of guidance in this world and happiness in the hereafter, and all people in the world should study the values of the Holy Quran, because with these values, peace and friendship can once again prevail throughout the world through peaceful coexistence and cooperation.
