Iran Press/ Iran news: Ta'ziyeh recitation began in the Safavid period in Iran. The ritual of reciting Ta'ziyeh was registered in the list of Iranian spiritual heritage by UNESCO in 2010.
About 700 actors collaborated to perform in Iran's most extensive field Ta'ziyeh, the youngest of which was five years old, and the most senior actor was 92.
The Ta'zieh is considered part of the Sacred Theater of Iran.
The people of Fars province and religious tourists widely welcomed the magnificent and spectacular "Sahraroud" Ta'zieh.
The religious and historic ritual is held annually in the hills of Hazrat Sahibul Zaman (AS) in the village of "Sahraroud" in Fasa.
The largest field Ta'ziyeh of "Sahraroud" village, 2012, was registered as a national and religious heritage.
The Ta'zia is held annually by reading historical books of Shias and even Sunnis.
