Iran Press/ Iran news: Faisal Mekdad, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria arrived in Tehran along with a high-level political and economic delegation.
The Syrian delegation, consisting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, and the Minister of Communications and Technology, will review the agreements between their country and Iran during President Ebrahim Raisi's trip to Damascus.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Damascus on May 3, 2023, and was welcomed by the President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad.
During Raisi's visit to Damascus, the presidents of Iran and Syria signed a comprehensive program of strategic and long-term cooperation between their nations.
Additionally, ministers from both countries signed eight memorandums of understanding in agriculture, natural resources, railways, maritime certificates, aviation, free zones, oil, earthquakes, communication, and technology.
