Tehran (IP) - At the end of his mission, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Iran met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif on Tuesday, and bade farewell to him.

Iran PressIran news: Octavio Alimudin, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Iran, held a meeting with Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, on Tuesday afternoon at the end of his mission, according to Iran's Foreign Ministry.

Octavio Alimudin Indonesia's Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran began his work in December 2015.

On April 27, 2020, President Hassan Rouhani and his Indonesian counterpart, Joko Widodo, highlighted friendly relations between Tehran and Jakarta in a phone conversation, stressing the need to strengthen bilateral ties in all sectors in line with mutual interests.  

The two presidents hoped that the next meeting of the Iran-Indonesia Cooperation Commission would expedite the implementation of agreements already signed between the two states, President.ir reported.
