A Palestinian young man was killed in Jenin camp in the West Bank, another seriously injured and two others wounded as a result of Israeli occupation airstrikes that were launched after midnight.

In the latest development, the Islamic Jihad Movement released a brief statement in response to the ongoing events in the Jenin camp. They attributed full responsibility to the Zionist enemy for the aggression and emphasized that they will bear the consequences. Sources within the Palestinian resistance reported that the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, is on high alert in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas politburo chief called on Palestinian people in West Bank to stand by resistance in Jenin and to foil the Tel Aviv scheme.

Fatah spokesman in Gaza Monzer Hayek said that the Zionist regime's premier Benjamin Netanyahu is personally overseeing the military operations in Jenin.

Retaliation options will be inclusive

Jenin Battalion of Islamic Jihad’s Al-Quds Brigades said in a statement, "Criminal Netanyahu shall know that we have been fully prepared for this day."

Islamic Jihad official Daoud Shehab said, "If the aggression in Jenin is not over, retaliation options will be ‘open and inclusive."

The Zionist media announced that air defense systems were on alert across the occupied territories, especially in the south.
