Tehran (IP) - Following the 5.1 earthquakes which hit Iran's Capital, thousands of Tehran's people spent the night outside for fear of aftershocks.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to Head of Iran's crisis management organization, Ismail Najar one person died and 33 others injured while trying to escape from the tremor in Tehran and Alborz Provinces.

A 60-year-old man died when he was trying to escape from tremor in Gilavand where 6 others injured as the same result.

All the casualties from the earthquake are due to panic after the incident.

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale occurred near Damavand at 00:48 local time on Friday which was felt in Tehran.
