Iran Press/ Iran news: At a news conference on Tuesday, Jahanpour responding to the questions raised by Iran Press about Iran's performance in the fight against corona compared to other countries said: "Comparison requires that homogenization be performed between variables in several different communities."
Iran’s top health official went on to say that the situation is comparable to the general economy and per capita income of communities, infrastructure and facilities, including sanctions, emphasizing the fact that regardless of sanctions, when Iran would be compared with other countries, richer than Iran, with their gross national income many times that of the Islamic country, it would be seen that in the face of Corona, with the efforts of the Iranian people and the maximum use of internal power and internal talents, something happened that friends and foes alike acknowledge to.
Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Health Ministry, added: "The country's management in the field of health and the National Headquarters for Combating Corona had a favorable situation compared to all developed countries in Western Europe and North America."
Jahanpour explained further that between the last two and three months, many measures have been taken in the country, and this comparison can be seen in the corridors of hospitals.
Janapour continued: "We did not see the not-so-interesting and catastrophic scenes that were observed in the United States and some European countries in Iran. Our people have not seen these scenes and we hope they will not."
Referring to the fact that many of these countries were not subject to any sanctions, and we were subject to all-out and unilateral sanctions by the United States, Jahanpour highlighted that any fair observer can admire the national mobilization against Corona in Iran.
"Part of it happened because of the cooperation of the people, and partly because of the strength and dedication of the healthcare workers and defenders. Certainly, our government and people have done better so far against countries that have better economic power than us, no sanctions, better health infrastructure, and higher per-capita hospital beds." 104/207
