Tehran (IP) - In past 24 hours, Iran recorded 63 deaths due to Coronavirus compared to yesterday, which recorded 74 deaths, this trend shows 11 fewer fatalities in a day and prove declining record.

Iran PressIran News: Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Health Ministry announced that so far, 99,970 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus whom among them 80,475 recovered.

Iran's Health Ministry spokesman, Kianoush Jahanpour in his daily presser on Tuesday 5 May said, "According to the definitive laboratory findings, 1,323 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country in past 24 hours and the number of patients with COVID-19 reached to 99,970."

Fortunately, 80,475 patients have been recovered and discharged so far, Jahanpour added.

The Ministry of Health Spokesman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 63 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 6,340 people have lost their lives in the country to the date."

He stated, "2,685 patients are in a critical condition."

So far, 519,543 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country.
