Tehran (IP) - United Nations Security Council's members won't breach the international rules and accords with accompanying the US regime, the Government spokesman Ali Rabiei noted.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with IP, the government spokesman Ali Rabiei regarding the possibility of the Europeans' accompany with the US new game to extend the arms embargo against Iran on October 18th, 2020, and the future of JCPOA with regard to Iran's government response, stated, "The JCPOA's remained signatories will pursue the case and it is our perception that the United Nations Security Council's members will not accompany the US in its illegal manner."

He said this is what Iran's first take on based on the bilateral talks and public opinion and because they are fully aware of the consequences.

He added Europeans and the United Nations Security Council's members won't breach and break the international rues' principals and accords "agreements" with accompanying the US regime.

Regarding the SNSC possible measure against the JCPOA, Rabiei stated it will be unprecedented for the UN body to take action against an agreement that itself endorsed. By such an action, the Security Council will devalue the body.

Iran has different options on the table how to react and respond but it is early to say what reaction it will take, he pointed out.

The government spokesman noted that Iran is evaluating various scenarios meticulously to react.

This governmental official said, "I do repeat the Islamic Republic of Iran's defense industry is independent and self-sufficient and will react to others' miscalculated manner."
