The statement added, "Dangerous and disruptive behavior of shipping safety began when the adventurous and terrorist country of the United States and some of its allies opened up to this sensitive region."
The General Staff stated that the United States, with its heavy presence in the region, is, in fact, the source of lawlessness, wickedness, and insecurity in the region.
The statement said, "Last year was the culmination of US mischief and insecurity in the region, which created many dangers."
The statement added, "Therefore, Iran considers the presence of the United States and its allies illegitimate in the region the source of evil and insecurity and urges them to refrain from any adventure as commuting in Iranian waters."
