Dep. Health Minister visits Coronavirus hospital in south of Iran

Abadan (IP) - Iran’s Deputy Health Minister visited on Thursday the Taleqni Hospital in Abadan, in Khuzestan Province, southwestern Iran, which has been dedicated to coronavirus-infected patients.

Iran PressIran News: Iraj Harirchi appreciated the dedication and self-sacrifices of the medical staff who is in the frontline of fighting coronavirus and said that Khuzestan is among the provinces which have low Coronavirus infected rate.

The global case tally for the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 has climbed to more than 2.6 million. The death toll rose to nearly 185,000, while more than 730,000 have recovered from the disease.

In Iran, 87,000 people have been infected with the Coronavirus, more than 5,400 people have died due to the virus and nearly 65,000 have recovered.
