Iranian ambassador to Russia stated that many Western countries are not interested in Tehran-Moscow relations to develop and strengthen.

Iran PressEurope: Iranian ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said that there is still no appropriate understanding of Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union among the Iranians, and stressed the need to expand relations between the two countries.

Referring to Moscow's efforts to lift the US inhuman sanctions against Iran, Jalali said: "The Russians have been very active in the lifting of sanctions, and the Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement condemning the US unilateral sanctions."

The Iranian ambassador to Russia also spoke about the cooperation between the two countries in the fight against the coronavirus, adding: "The Russians have announced their readiness to help Iran in the field of protocols and health advice to deal with the coronavirus, and selling drugs to Iran."
