Iranian envoy to Brussels appreciates financial aid of Iranians

Iran’s Ambassador to Brussels Gholamhossein Dehghani thanked the Iranian people living in Belgium for their financial assistance in purchasing the medical and health equipment needed by the Iranian people in the fight against the Coronavirus.

Iran PressEurope: According to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brussels on Saturday morning (today), Gholamhossein Dehghani saicd: "Monetary donations of our dear people in Belgium show the national solidarity and humanitarian spirit of Iranians in any situation, especially in the difficult situation of illegal and oppressive US sanctions against our country."

US President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew from the JCPOA on May 8, 2018, with the sanctions against Iran resuming. The move has been slammed by the American and international communities.

The global case tally for the Coronavirus that causes COVID-19 has climbed to 2.2 million. The death toll rose to more than 150,000.
